How Football Squares works
• The commissioner creates a board and chooses any NFL game on the schedule, including regular season, playoffs, conference championships and the Super Bowl.
• Each board has 100 squares in a 10×10 grid. Players claim available squares before the number draw.
• The row and column numbers stay hidden while squares are being selected. When the commissioner closes the board, Links randomly assigns 0–9 to each team and locks the numbers.
• Winners are based on the last digit of each team's score at the end of the 1st Quarter, Halftime, 3rd Quarter and Final.
• Example: if the away team has 17 and the home team has 24, the winning square is Away 7 / Home 4.
• Links follows the selected NFL game and highlights the winning square as quarter scores become available.
• Square price and quarter payouts are set by the commissioner. Links tracks the board; player money stays between the commissioner and players.
• Once numbers are drawn, square ownership and number positions are locked for that board.
